1. Kamu boleh menamakan hampir semua pemain dari English Premier League, tetapi bila ditanya tentang pemain bola Malaysia, satu nama pun tak boleh sebut.

2. Bila Streamyx hadir, kamu complain Streamyx too slow. Bila Maxis Broadband wujud, kamu complain Maxis Broadband always disconnects. Bila WiMax muncul, kamu complain Wimax too expensive. In the end, kamu cakap Streamyx still the best lah.

3. Bila harga tol naik, you complain. Bila harga minyak naik, you complain. Bila pergi ke Starbucks beli coffee RM10, Kamu TAK KOMPLEN.

5. You are always late. And the excuses you give when you're late is always either:
(a) traffic jam (b) no transport or (c) cannot find parking.

7. You know someone who can specially develop an Ang Moh accent when speaking to a American / British / Australian.

8. You complain against the government in Kopitiam, kamu menyalakmelalak kuat kuat. Leave anonymous comments on blogs, you also melalak kuat kuat. Attend ceramah by PKR, you jerit kuat kuat. Then when Opposition organise a protest and ask you to go, you tak nak pergi. Takut later kena tangkap by ISA.

9. Every year on the 30th April, you are one of the people below queueing up last minute to submit your tax return at the IRB.

10. When you pay RM10 for something that costs RM1, you blame the Chinese.

11. When a government service is too slow, you blame the Malays.

12. When a building is not good and collapsed, you blame the Indians.

13. Bila pelajar Cina dapat biasiswa, you say "Wah! Very clever hor?"

14. Bila pelajar Melayu dapat biasiswa, you say "Aiya! Of course lah! He Malay mah!"

15. When an Ang Moh stranger kiss you on the cheek to say hello, you very happy dan sangat suka. When a Malaysian guy kiss you on the cheek to say hello, you slap him.

For the record, I'm not proud of this. Not even single one. But I'm still guilty of it. Yes, I give a damn shit about it.

A showcase of uniquely Malaysian traits and unspoken realities.

Nani, it's good to know you. But, I think you are not socialize a lot with other Malaysians.

Malaysia is ranked third least courteous country in the world, according to the magazine.

Let's grow up if we love this country.

owh..aku ada baca artikel di RD and it's stated, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. huhuhu... so, not all Malaysia as total :D

bukan sume rakyat malaysia mcmni kan?
just because it's a couple of bad apples, doesn't mean the whole barrel is rotten.

أكرم حسني berkata...

The survey consisted of 3 test (quote from RD):

Test1:
—–
We walked into public buildings 20 times behind people to see if they would hold the door open for us.

Test 2:
—–
We bought small items from 20 shops and recorded whether the sales assistants said “Thank You”.

Test 3:
—–
We dropped a folder full of papers in 20 busy locations to see if anyone would help pick them up.

As you can see from the test, language shouldn’t have been a problem.

The surveyors were all from their own countries (35 different countries to be exact) all conducting the same survey. Half were men, half women.

I think the survey is fair enough.

betul.

kalau di restoran, waiter tersilap kira lebih sikit, pastu org malaysia selalu jawab 'ingat saya teda duit maw bayar ka??'

atau bila masuk kedai perfume ka, kedai mana2 yang mahal la, pastu pelayan ikut2. pastu annoyed. bila kluar, 'ingat saya teda duit ka maw bli? benci sy kena ikut2.'

lavidalabelle berkata...

xD owh whatever it is i still love Malaysia.
